Dear Amelia, thank you for taking the time to
provide us with an interview and answering our
questions.
Please introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Amelia Murante, `Puni` to my friends.
I am a dog lover and above all, a long-time Great
Dane lover. I was lucky enough to be born and
raised within a family of dog and animal lovers:
my Father, Gioacchino, has been an all-round
judge for over 50 years, the affix Di San Filippo
of his kennel dates back to 1970, born for the
selection of working lines of English Setters. The
principle that has always guided the selection
work is to produce very few puppies of the hig-
hest genealogy, in search of quality – and never
quantity - our dogs live and have always lived
at home with the family, being completely part
of it.
We live in a large house in the north-west of
Italy where the official dog business has always
been active and lively: we have dedicated com-
mitment and energy to it with passion. Howe-
